Arooga’s was the first Certified Green Restaurant in Pennsylvania; all of our restaurants follow rigorous guidelines established by the Green Restaurant Association. These initiatives include never using Styrofoam, recycling our cooking oil into Bio-diesel, using environmentally friendly chemicals & soaps, and utilizing energy management systems that reduce our carbon footprint. We also use reclaimed wood from fallen trees and barns for our tables, instead of cutting down trees, all of which help to reduce our impact on our planet.
